Reviewer Jeff Kowalk (of Erudite Magic fame on YouTube, and now the CFO of Vanishing Inc. Magic) just uploaded a great video that discusses magic periodicals, how they differ from traditional magic books, and gives a brief history and overview of some of the better magazines out there.
